golden-age funk and soul and 90’s hip-hop, Ishan Cooper is an energetic, charismatic
and typically restless artist. Currently riding the wave generated by his 2015 sophomore
LP ‘Coop DeVille presents Bat Funk Crazy… in 3D!’, the record saw Cooper collaborate
with long-term heroes, the legendary George Clinton and his famed Parliament Funkadelic. Other features include artists of such pedigree as Angelo Moore (Fishbone), Kokane (Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre), Steve Boyd (Five Special, Dramatics, PFunk) & Sueann Carwell (MPLS legend, Prince protégé, all-round session guru). Vocalised and co-written by the imminently recognizable Angelo Moore, front man for genre-mashing LA ska-funk- punk legends FISHBONE, Cooper’s latest cut is ‘Science of Pants’.
